Amália seems to have a plan. Unfortunately.

Both of the boys turned towards her. "What?" They said it almost in unison.
Seeing Hobart's interest, Amália turned towards him. "Yeah! My dad sent me to my room early, but they didn't know I wasn't asleep. Dad said that it looked like her blood had been drained through her neck-- like a vampire did it. Isn't that weird?"
Hobart was trapped. He looked over Ama's head at poor Jason who was faced with the back of Ama's head. In a way, it was better this way. Jason could not expect what Ama would suggest.
"I think we should look for him!"
Hobart looked at her, surprised even after his mental preparations. "Who?"
"The guy who did it, duh! I bet he is a real vampire."
Hobart groaned. He was only a year older than Ama, but he felt himself to be the wiser of the two. "Oh no. No way. You're on your own."
"Pfft!" Ama stuck her tongue out and turned back to Jason. "What about you, Jason?"
Jason seemed to perk up when Ama turned her attention back to him with the offer of adventure. "Yeah! I wanna see him. Maybe we could catch him."
"Maybe. But it's gonna be dark. Are you scared of the dark like you are of bugs?"
"Shut up, Ama. I am not."
Hobart rolled his eyes. "And how are you going to get out of the house at night?"
Ama's response was full of her classic smugness. "Easy. I'll say I'm at his house and he'll say he's at my house."
Hobart's head was starting to hurt from the eye rolling.

tee hee hee...an adventure. Keep the story alive, cuz it's a great story line.
Oh that Ama is crafty! What a cute girl too...I just love that little gap between her front two teeth. You are so good at writing voices for the sims in your stories. When I write all my sims sound the same. But yours have different styles and personalities that really shine through! I love it so very much. It's always a very entertaining read that leaves me wanting more!
Oh, wow, these kids better be careful! I like Ama! LOL, dragging those boys into trouble! :)
Thanks, T. Irwin. I was going to hold off on posting the next part and instead post something of an intermission, but your comment made me rethink how I post-- which is good because I'm still experimenting to find a good story telling style. :)
Thank you so much, Mandie for the compliments. I can hear their voices so clear in my head when they're sitting together in school it almost makes me laugh. But I don't laugh or my boyfriend will think I'm cracking up. XD
Hi Laura. ^__^ I love Ama too. I've always known she'd be something of a trouble maker. She just needed something worthy of her efforts.
Very mysterious - I wonder who the vampire is?
And what about the Mellons???
Sorry, I'm an impatient reader.
It's ok, I'm an impatient updater. I'm trying to not post every single day, but Ama sort of called for it this time. (She's rather demanding.)
Plus you comments really help drive me. I really want to get to the end of the year. (In game, I am now in winter.)
